Meet the Designer
Owner & Lead Floral Designer
What began as a love for knowing the names of wildflowers has grown into something more intentional. I founded Cottage Floral Design with the belief that fresh florals should do more than decorate a space. They should draw people in, mark a moment, and tell a story.
Flowers are a luxury product and deeply perishable. To me, that is exactly what makes them meaningful. Their fleeting nature invites us to be present. When you bring flowers into a moment you want to celebrate, they ask you to slow down, to notice, and to feel it more fully.
I also believe flowers exist for a reason beyond function. There are countless ways plants reproduce, and yet we are given something this intricate and beautiful. To me, that reflects a Creator who values beauty, and reminds me that beauty itself is a worthy pursuit.
With a background in plant science and formal floral training, I approach each piece with both creativity and care, designing florals that not only look beautiful but move well and last throughout your day.
I have always been drawn to people and their stories, and that curiosity shapes everything I create. Inspired by the Dutch masters and the layered symbolism of florals throughout history, I design with intention, creating pieces that feel personal, expressive, and alive.
Our Philosophy
Every design begins with meaning. Flowers become a way to hold memory, emotion, and story in a physical, fleeting form.
Because flowers are fleeting, they ask us to be present. Their impermanence is not a flaw, but the very reason they matter.
We approach florals as a study of form, movement, and space, creating pieces that feel expressive, sculptural, and alive.
A foundation in plant science and formal training informs each design, honoring how flowers naturally grow, move, and exist.
Whenever possible, we work with seasonal materials and sustainable mechanics, designing with both beauty and responsibility in mind.
This work is shaped by faith and a belief that beauty has purpose, and that creating it is a meaningful pursuit.
I'd love to hear about your celebration and bring your floral dreams to life.
