Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do wedding flowers cost in Utah County?

Our wedding florals are custom-designed to fit each couple's story, venue, and palette, so investment varies based on guest count, floral pieces, and installation. Cottage Floral Design has a $1,000 order minimum for weddings. After your inquiry, we put together a detailed proposal tailored to your celebration so you can see exactly where your budget is going.

What areas of Utah do you serve?

Cottage Floral Design is based in Eagle Mountain and serves all of Utah County — Provo, Orem, Lehi, American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Highland, Alpine, Saratoga Springs, Springville, Spanish Fork, and surrounding cities. We also travel to Salt Lake County, Park City, and Heber City, and consider destination weddings on a case-by-case basis.

How far in advance should I book my Utah wedding florist?

We recommend booking your florist 9–12 months ahead of your wedding date, especially for peak Utah seasons (May–October). For elopements and intimate gatherings, 2–4 months is often workable. Reach out as soon as you have a date and venue, even if other details are still in motion.

Do you design florals for elopements and small weddings?

Yes — elopements and intimate weddings are some of our favorite events to design. Whether you're saying vows in a Utah canyon, a Park City cabin, or a backyard in Provo, we can scale our floral design to match the moment.

What style of wedding flowers do you specialize in?

We specialize in garden-inspired, story-led wedding florals with movement and intentional color. Our work draws on training in plant science and the symbolism of the Dutch masters, often featuring garden roses, ranunculus, peonies, sweet pea, dahlias, hellebores, anemones, and lisianthus.

Do you offer events beyond weddings?

Absolutely. In addition to weddings, we design florals for bridal showers, corporate events, intimate dinners, photo shoots, and seasonal offerings such as our Mother's Day flower & cake box and prom and high school dance flowers across Utah County.
